Hospital, Midland and Adjunct Research Fellow, UWA School of Human Sciences. Her research
experience includes clinical trials design and implementation, ethics and governance, key
stakeholder relationship management, methodology, data management, analysis and dissemination of findings. She is
currently Principal Investigator on several trials in the wound care arena. She was recognised for her research in March 2018
by receiving the Journal of Wound Care Best Clinical Research Award for her doctoral work. She also received third place in
Innovation in Surgical Site Infection 2018. Her primary teaching and research interests are translation research, prevention
of surgical wound complications, skin integrity and health services outcomes. Kylie is currently Chairman of the Board for
Wounds Australia, member of the Finance & Audit Subcommittee, Council Member, European Wound Management
Association (EWMA), Board Member of the International Cooperating Organisations Group (EWMA), Treasurer of the
Research Association of UWA, and International Board Member for the World Union of Wound Healing Societies (WUWHS).
Kylie is a editorial board member for Journal of Wound Care and is a regular reviewer for a number of high impact factor
journals. Kylie recently co-chaired the WUWHS International Consensus Document on Surgical Wound Dehiscence, a direct
result of her doctoral work. Kylie is co-editor of the EWMA International Consensus Document on SSI improved healing
outcomes and was a member of the Journal of Wound Care Consensus Document: Identifying and treating foot ulcers in
patients with diabetes: saving feet, legs and lives.

Raj Mani is a trained and accredited Angiologist and clinical scientist, his research focus is the
microcirculation, tissue hypoxia, and improved wound healing. During his years in the National
Health Service (mostly based in Southampton) Raj was involved in clinical imaging and research into
tissue viability. He developed ultrasound driven techniques to image the veins and established a
clinical service. Several graduate and PhD students worked in the lab directed by Raj: the last of his
PhD students are in the process of finishing their research theses in the University of Southampton.
Presently Raj is an independent consultant, also an Adjunct Professor at Chiang Mai University, Thailand and an Consultant /
Advisory Professor Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China. Raj has an established track record of authoring
over 350 scientific publications including refereed papers, reviews, and abstracts. Raj also has authored and edited 7 books in the
field of wound healing. Raj is the Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds, a Sage Publications product.
Raj also serves on the Editorial Board of the Chinese Burns and Trauma journal. Recent research publications from their group
includes a systematic review and meta-analysis of nutritional supplementation in chronic lower extremity wounds as well as a
Consensus paper for optimising the use of technology in wound management. Raj is an experienced clinical triallist: his motto " a
treatment be it a device or a drug is only as good as the number of patients who can access it".

13 and 2017-18. Dr Poddar served as Assistant Governor, Rotary International District 3291 several times, Chairman, Disaster

Completed more than 45 years of professional service on Anti Rabies and Critical Care Management. He has chaired Sessions,
Speaker, Organizer in many CMEs, workshops on Rabies and related subjects, attended and participated in many WHO,
UNICEF and many national and international agencies sponsored scientific programmes, participated and organized many
pro-people activities like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for more than 600 times in different parts of country. Presently
delivering lecture on disaster management, CPR training and First Aid training for West Bengal Police. Trained in Disaster
Management – by Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre, Philippines and National Centre of Disaster Management, Govt. of
India, New Delhi and mass casualty management as Govt. sponsored candidate in NIDM, New Delhi, 2009. Invented New
Technical Device on Administration of Rabies Immunoglobulin – 2012 (Patent : Poddar Multi bore needle for RIG administration
and design). Dr. Sumit participated and delivered talks on Rabies and Disaster Management in many TV programs and also
written many editorials etc for newspapers on the different topics related to public health. Released a book on Prevention of
Rabies both in Bengali and English language .

He received his BS degree from the Yonsei University of College of Medicine and his MS degree in medicine and PhD degree from the Graduate School of Yonsei University. He received his M.B.A. on medical management from University of Southern California at Marshall School of Business.
He is an active member of a number of professional associations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgery, World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and Korean Society of Plastic Surgery.
His major work has been research and clinical practice in wound healing, diabetic foot reconstruction and microsurgery. He is on the editorial board for numerous journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, International Wound Journal, Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and more. He has been invited in over 80 countries to present his work and is visiting professor for more than 20 institutions. He has over 160 publications in this field of practice with 24 book chapters including the Neligan Plastic surgery. He was recently awarded the “Godina Travelling Fellowship” from the 2015 American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
